Datganiad GAD
Mae’r Grant Amddifadedd Disgyblion (GAD) yn cael ei ddyrannu i ysgolion sydd â disgyblion sy'n dod o deuluoedd incwm isel ac yn gymwys i gael prydau ysgol am ddim (PYDd) ynghyd a disgyblion sydd wedi derbyn gofal yn barhaus am fwy na chwe mis ( PYG).
Disgwylir i ysgolion i wneud y defnydd gorau o'r cyllid hwn i weithredu strategaethau cynaliadwy a fydd yn gyflym arwain at newidiadau ar gyfer dysgwyr sy'n gymwys i gael prydau ysgol am ddim neu sy’ mewn gofal am fwy na chwe mis.
Cyllid GAD 2023/2024 - £25,300
Fel ysgol rydym wedi cytuno ar y tri cham canlynol:
1. Nodi'r grŵp o ddisgyblion a dargedir a nodi ei nodweddion ac anghenion.
2. Cynllunio sesiynau ymyrraeth sy'n gwneud y defnydd mwyaf effeithiol o adnoddau.
3. Monitro a gwerthuso effaith yr adnoddau.
Yn Ysgol Gymraeg y Cwm, mae gennym gynllun cynhwysfawr sydd wedi’i gytuno ac yn cael ei fonitro gan Awdurdod Lleol. Diben y cymorth ariannol yw i hyrwyddo cynnydd a dileu rhwystrau dysgu i fyfyrwyr sy’n gymwys i’r cyllid hwn.
Rydym wedi defnyddio'r cyllid sydd ar gael i:

PDG Statement
The Pupil Deprivation Grant (PDG) is allocated to schools with pupils who come from low-income families and are currently known to be eligible for free school meals (e-FSM) and pupils who have been looked after continuously for more than six months (LAC).
Schools are expected to make the best use of this funding to implement sustainable strategies that will quickly bring about changes for learners eligible for free school meals or who are LAC.
PDG allocation 2023/2024 - £25,300
As a school we have agreed the following three steps:

3. To monitor and evaluate the impact of resources.
At Ysgol Gymraeg y Cwm School we have a comprehensive plan, agreed and monitored by Swansea Local Authority to promote progress and remove barriers to learning for students eligible for this funding.
We have used the funding available to:
